Designer - Draftsperson
Location: Wollongong - Contract Position

This leading engineering consultancy with a reputation for delivering innovative engineering solutions to Blue Chip organisations in the Metals, Mining, Cement and Quarry Industries is looking for an experienced Designer - Draftsperson.

The position requires you to work with a team of experienced engineers and designers that strive for excellence in delivering engineering solutions to our clients. We service the needs of a diversified group of Blue Chip clients in a range of industries both locally and interstate.

Essential:

Minimum 5 years experience in 2D Drafting & 3D Design
Diploma in Mechanical or Structural Engineering

Skills that we are looking for:

Fabrication drawings - detailing
Conveyor & gantry design
Chute & Bin design
Piping design, layout & details, pipe supports
Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P & IDs)
Mechanical drive systems
Steel structures
Mining equipment
Excellent communication skills, Team player
Technically skilled in mainstream design packages such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Solidworks or equivalent
Proficient in MS Office software
