Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Wollongong - Permanent Position

This leading engineering consultancy with a reputation for delivering innovative engineering solutions to Blue Chip organisations in the Metals, Mining, Cement and Quarry Industries is looking for an experienced mechanical engineer.

Candidate should have a proven record in the design & construction of plant and equipment. Experience in processing plant and piping, drive systems and conveyors, cranes and handling equipment, mining equipment would be preferred.

You will have access to FSA’s extensive in-house CAE, FEA, CFD and DEM software for the design projects. The position will require you to work with a team of experienced mechanical and structural engineers and designers that strive for excellence in delivering engineering solutions to our clients.

Skills and experience:

5-10 years experience in a consultancy or design and construction background
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Excellent communication skills
Team player, self motivated and passionate about Engineering
AutoCAD, Inventor, Solidworks or ProE
CAE Skills using ANSYS - Strand7 or equivalent
