Project Manager
Location: Wollongong - Contract Position
This leading engineering consultancy with a reputation for delivering innovative engineering solutions to Blue Chip organisations in the Metals, Mining, Cement and Quarry Industries is looking for an experienced Project Manager.
As Project Manager, you will be primarily responsible for managing the delivery of packages within time, scope and budgetary constraints. The position will require you to work with a team of experienced mechanical and structural engineers and designers that strive for excellence in delivering engineering solutions to our clients.
Skills and experience may include:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Structural or Mining Engineering (recognised by IEAust)
Diploma/Tertiary qualifications in project management
Proven experience as a project manager in an engineering environment
Evaluating designs & project tenders
Overseeing work undertaken by others
Managing contract claims & variations
Reporting to senior management on project issues
Excellent communication skills and confidence when dealing with project stakeholders
Team player, self motivated and passionate about Engineering
Excellent technical report writing skills, proficient in MS Office software and planning software such as MS Project or Primavera
